Connecting to the Internet
The eCAFÉ™ gives you several Internet connection options. Hercules has created software especially for the eCAFÉ™ that lets you connect in just a few steps, regardless of the connection method. Hercules’ expertise makes connecting to the internet a piece of cake.
Connecting from Home
If you own a WiFi box or a WiFi router modem, connecting to these devices using the eCAFÉ™ is as simple as it gets! This solution is free and secure. In a few steps, you’ll be free to move about while remaining connected to the Internet. You can look up a recipe in the kitchen or a television program in the living room. You can even connect at a friend’s house that has the same hardware setup.

Some are free and secure. You can find these Wi-Fi zones in some shopping centres, pedestrian areas, city centres, train stations, universities, and fast food outlets.

Others are secure but charge a fee for use. Some train stations, airports, hotels, and trains may require an activation code that you must purchase. There is no risk in trying to connect to these access points. A webpage will open requesting a code from you, nothing more.

The risks are the same as when you use your computer. Just be careful about the sites you visit and confirm the source of the files you download.
Outside
There are many Wi-Fi access points, or hotspots, available in major cities and in places like libraries, universities, and train stations. To find them just look for a Wi-Fi sign. This may be signposted in several ways.
Connecting with a USB 3G key
You can enjoy Internet access thanks to various USB 3G keys offered by your mobile phone company. After a simple configuration procedure, you’ll have access to the mobile Internet!
