eCAFÉ^tm UMPCs are available in two different operating system versions: Windows® or Linux. You get to choose which is best for you!

Windows®
Known and trusted by millions of users worldwide, Microsoft® Windows® XP is included on some eCAFÉ^tm versions. This operating system is already compatible with most devices and applications.

Linux
The eCAFÉ^tm runs on a Linux operating system. Fast and light, this system is also compatible with most of your current environment, be it peripherals or applications. Thanks to an interface specially designed by Hercules, it is also as easy or easier to access applications than on any other computer.

NOTE: the list of compatible devices (below) is non-exhaustive and applies to the Linux operating system only. A device may be compatible even if it is not listed.
